C. Kenneth Mitchell, President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Mitchell brings extensive leadership experience to Stonewood, including serving as President and CEO of Builders Mutual Insurance Company. He has been directly responsible for the development, start-up and success of a self-insured workers’ compensation fund, a health benefit trust and a mutual, multi-line insurance company. Mr. Mitchell was inducted into the 1996 class of the National Housing Hall of Fame, in recognition of his national leadership in the field of insurance. He served on the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Self Insurance Guaranty Association from its inception in 1986 through serving as Chairman from 1994 to 1997. Mr. Mitchell earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Alabama.

Ann M. Person, Vice-President & Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Person oversees the major operation areas including underwriting, claims, loss control, information services, administrative services and human resources and has over 21 years of insurance experience, specializing in workers' compensation. Prior to Stonewood, Ms. Person served as the Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Builders Mutual Insurance Company, where she developed and implemented the operating business plans to convert the organization from third party administration to internal administration and from self-insured to a mutual company. She served on the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Association of Self-Insurers from 1991 to 1997, when she served as president. She has also served on the workers' compensation committee of the North Carolina Rate Bureau. Ms. Person is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.S. in chemical engineering.

Lisa A. Snyder, Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Snyder has an extensive background in insurance finance, having worked in the North Carolina Department of Insurance as a Senior Financial Analyst evaluating the financial condition of insurance companies. She also has audit experience obtained during 7 years in the banking field. Ms. Snyder has an accounting degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Thomas N. Stephenson, Jr., Director of Underwriting
Mr. Stephenson leads the underwriting department, which is charged with the Company's underwriting, agency relations and marketing efforts. He has worked in the insurance industry for over 26 years. Prior to joining Stonewood, Mr. Stephenson worked for Builders Mutual Insurance Company. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Recreation and Parks Administration. He is also a licensed property and casualty agent.

Eric M. Kasper, Director of Loss Control
Mr. Kasper leads Stonewood's loss control operations. He has successfully managed loss control efforts in the forestry and residential construction fields and has over 20 years of experience through his work with W.J. Cox Associates, Inc., North Carolina Forestry Association Self-Insurers Fund, and Builders Mutual Insurance Company. Mr. Kasper is a graduate of Syracuse University with a B.S. in Environmental Science and Forestry and has the designation of Certified Safety Professional.

Ron S. Serbin, Chief Information Officer
Mr. Serbin's responsibilities include information technology strategic planning and direction. He has over 20 years of information technology experience, ranging from overall direction of technology infrastructure to managing large-scale outsourcing initiatives within Fortune 500 enterprises. Prior to joining Stonewood, Mr. Serbin worked for Investors Title Insurance Company and Nortel Networks. Mr. Serbin is a graduate of Kent State University with a B.S. in Computer Science/Management Science and earned his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Cindy A. Sullivan, Director of Policy Services
Ms. Sullivan's responsibilities include management of premium accounting and premium audit operations. She has over 16 years years of accounting and policy services experience. Through third party administration, she has managed premium accounting services for the North Carolina Retail Merchants, North Carolina Restaurant Association, Association of General Contractors and the North Carolina Home Builders Self-Insurers Fund. Prior to joining Stonewood, Ms. Sullivan was the Director of Premium Audit for Builders Mutual Insurance Company.

Sallie Mercer, Director of Claims
Ms. Mercer's responsibilities include management of the workers' compensation claims department. She has successfully managed and trained claims adjustors and has over 17 years of experience through her work with North Carolina Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company, Inc. Ms. Mercer is a graduate of East Carolina University and has the designation of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter.
