Stonewood Insurance Company Licensed to Write Business in Virginia

February 20, 2006, Raleigh, NC – Stonewood Insurance Company is pleased to announce the expansion of their Workers Compensation business into the state of Virginia. Stonewood is expected to begin writing Virginia business by March 1, 2007.

Stonewood had been writing Workers Compensation business exclusively in North Carolina since January 2004. The insurance is marketed through 146 independent agencies in North Carolina. Stonewood is currently appointing independent agency representatives in Virginia.
